A Bouquet

I've got a little bit of this and a little bit of that to show you. Each isn't much but maybe together we'll have a knitting bouquet.

Square one for Doctors without Borders - complete! Hypnotic, no? Like the psychadelic boat trip in the Gene Wilder "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory".

Or maybe like the cover of a time-travel book. Hmmm, a knitter who unknowingly knits a vortex, then falls through it. I might read that. You, too?

The yarn is left over Fleece Artist sock yarn from the Knit Purl Sock Club, colors inspired by an azalea garden in a vortex. If you want to help with the Barnraising Quilts to benefit Doctors without Borders, details are
here
.

Here's something less trippy but just as pretty:
It's a sleeve for a Tonia Barry's Cascading Leaves Cardigan. You've got leaves cascading up and down the front lapels but I think the sleeve detail is what makes the sweater.

Here's a detail from the lapels: The yarn is Classic Elite Classic Silk, a blend of cotton and silk but with the crunchy hand of raw silk. The color is much closer to the photo above.
